Sabine Bannard is a versatile photographer who effortlessly navigates between digital and analogue photography, applying her skills to both client commissions and personal projects.
Hailing from a dynamic background in Music Television and Dj’ing in her native Germany, Sabine's sense for storytelling underwent a transformative evolution from the realm of music and moving imagery to the captivating world of stills. This creative journey found its genesis during her relocation to the raw landscapes of the Australian Gold Coast Hinterland in the early 2000s, alongside her Australian husband and two children.
Currently based in the lush town of Tamborine Mountain, Sabine Bannard's personal artistic portfolio predominantly unfolds through her (vintage) analogue cameras. Her discerning eye captures fleeting moments, expansive landscapes, empty tables & chairs, or humanity observed from a safe distance as well as portraiture and documentary style content.
Sabine’s body of work reflects her unyielding dedication to capturing fleeting moments of life through her unique visual storytelling using light and shadows wherever possible.
